Trader Joe’s has a nice selection of gluten-free products at decent prices, including some baked products (like their desserts that look ah-may-zing!) and breads as well as boxed baking products. Here’s their selection and prices:
Gluten free chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting, 4 ct. $3.99
Gluten free chocolate chip brownies $2.49
The prices on their baked desserts are some of the cheapest I’ve seen. Baked gluten free desserts are hard to find, and when you do find them, they are usually really expensive. For example, Whole Foods charges $14.99 for a personal size gluten free cake, so if you need ready to eat gf desserts, you’ll get the most bang for your buck at Trader Joe’s.
Gluten free blueberry muffins $3.99
I’ve had the muffins before and they are actually really good! They don’t crumble like many gluten free baked products do.
Gluten free bagels $4.49
Gluten free bread, white or whole grain $4.49
I’m not super impressed with their gf bread prices, as you can usually get Udi’s or Rudi’s gf bread cheaper when you wait for a sale or have a coupon. I haven’t tried it yet though, maybe the taste is worth it?
Gluten free buttermilk pancake/waffles mix $3.99
Gluten free all purpose flour $3.99
Gluten free chocolate chip brownie mix $3.99
Their prices are decent for their flours and baking mixes. I like that their flour is 33% whole grain, as whole grain gf flour is often hard to find. I’ve had their brownies and they are awesome! I’ve snuck them to a few parties and no one knew they were gluten free. They didn’t fall apart either, like I’ve had happen with other gf mixes.
